1. Overview

GetOverflow provides marketing and lead generation systems designed to help professional service firms grow through predictable inbound demos.
Because our work involves custom strategy, ad management, and creative production, our services are considered “digital consulting and performance-based services”, not physical goods.

2. General Policy

All payments made to GetOverflow are non-refundable, except where required by South African law or expressly agreed to in writing.

This includes:

  • Setup fees

  • Retainer fees

  • Ad management fees

  • Performance or commission-based bonuses

Our systems, creative work, and advertising campaigns involve upfront costs and strategic work that cannot be reversed or reused for another client.

3. Exceptions

Refunds may be considered only under the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate payment: If you are accidentally billed twice for the same service.

  • Non-performance before commencement: If you pay for a service and GetOverflow has not yet begun work (no onboarding call, ad setup, or creative delivery).

  • Service cancellation within 24 hours of payment: Only applicable before onboarding has started and must be requested in writing.

5. How to Request a Refund or Credit

To request a refund or service credit, email ben@getoverflow.co.za with:

  • Your full name or business name

  • Date and amount of payment

  • Reason for your request
    All refund requests must be made within 3 days of payment.

6. Processing Time

Approved refunds (for exceptions only) will be processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method.

7. International Clients

For clients outside South Africa:

  • Refunds will be processed in USD at the current exchange rate.

  • Transaction or currency conversion fees are non-refundable.

8. Legal Basis

This policy complies with:

  • Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (South Africa)

  • Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002

  • Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA)
